Getting Started

Do I need a doctor referral?

No, you do not need a doctor referral to access private speech-language pathology services.

You can book your free phone consultation directly through our website booking button. We will call you at the scheduled time to discuss your child's needs.

What is the first step of the process?

We will ask you to fill out a detailed intake form about your child prior to the assessment. We will then book an appointment to come to your home for the comprehensive assessment to determine your child's communication strengths and needs.

How frequently should my child attend?

Teletherapy
Is virtual therapy effective?

Yes. Teletherapy is evidence-based and can be highly effective for many children. Sessions are interactive, goal-focused, and adapted to your child age and needs. With appropriate engagement and support, children can make meaningful progress.

Will I need to be present during therapy?

Parent involvement varies depending on your child age and goals. For younger children, occasional parent participation is often helpful for coaching and carryover strategies. For older children, sessions may be more independent, with updates and strategies shared as needed.
